Super simple brownie recipe for your holiday baking.
Let's get started.
Brownies
3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup Dutch-Process Cocoa Powder
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
3 Large Eggs
3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
1/2 Cup Walnuts *optional
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
In a small sauce pan add in the butter and over low heat allow the butter to brown. Once you have brown butter, remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder and vanilla extract until all clumps are gone. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add in the brown sugar and eggs. Using an electric mixer, mix until lighter in color and fluffy, about 3 minutes of mixing.
Add in the butter mixture and mix to combine. Using a spatula fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on the pan.
Remove from pan and cut into pieces.
Serve and enjoy.
