Make this on the grill this Mother's day weekend. Serve alongside some rice and a side salad.
Hawaiian BBQ Flanken Short Ribs
1 lb. Flanken Short Ribs
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
4-6 Cloves of Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. Ginger, grated
3 Tbsp. Mirin
2 Tsp. Sesame Oil
2 Tsp. Sriracha
2 Tsp. Chili Garlic Paste
1 Whole Pineapple, sliced
Green Onion, thinly sliced for serving
In
a small bowl combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, mirin,
sesame oil, sriracha, chili garlic paste, and stir until the sugar is
dissolved.
Place your short ribs in a large zip lock bag and add in the marinade. Allow to marinade to a minimum of 6 hours or one day.
Preheat your grill or grill pan.
Grill
your ribs for 3-4 minutes on each side. Grill the pineapple slices
until charred on both sides. Remove from grill and allow them to rest
for 2 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
