This turkey meatloaf is super tasty, if you are looking for a recipe that doesn't use shortcut items I do have other recipes available on my site.
Let's get started.
2 lbs. Ground Turkey
2 Eggs
1 Onion, finely chopped
4-6 Cloves Garlic, minced
Sides:
1 Family pkg. Idahoan Mashed Potatoes
2 Pkgs. Green Beans or Frozen Peas
1 Pkg. Pioneer Gravy
Total Spent: $25.14
Feeds: 4-6 People
In a small pan add a little bit of oil, sauté your onion for 3-4 minutes, then add in the garlic and sauté for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a bowl add in the ground turkey, onion and garlic mixture, eggs, stuffing, and mix until well combined.
Place onto a parchment lined baking pan and form turkey into a loaf shape. Bake for 45 minutes or until the center temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
While the meatloaf is resting make mashed potatoes and gravy according to package directions. Heat up the green beans or your choice of side; season with salt and pepper.
Serve slices of turkey meatloaf alongside mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans.
Note: Double the recipe in order to feed 8-10 people. This can be a super easy minimum effort turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. Get a store bought pie and you'll be all set :)
